How to get MacBook Pro to read iBooks on OS X Yosemite

Got my copy of Soft Skills in pub format loaded to iBooks and about to go for a 4 hour drive to start new mobile project in ST Pete area. Good time to get back into my CarUiversity, in this post will list steps to use MacBook as it continues to read without highlighting, second post will show how to use iPhone

  1. MacBook Pro – very easy
    a) in iBooks select Edit/Speech/Start Speaking
Text to voice will start with nearest chapter, the pages will not turn but it will continue to read, you can also select some text to read

Why I started this blog…

For the last couple years was “too busy” and honestly couldn’t decide where to continue to host my blog.. wanted to be more in control and have an easier interface to write blog posts than on my first blog from geekswithblogs.net

After couple years of endless procrastination and after great ammount of motivation from John Sonmez of SimpleProgrammer.com, I’ve bought the space on bluehost.net, yet couldn’t pick good theme I liked… so during my last trip to Phoenix got last couple drops of encouragement that “tipped the bucket” and kicked the procrastination after I’ve met face to face with Adam Wolf of SyntaxIsMyUI.com and WeeklyXamarin.com and here it is..

My goal is to share and document the tips and trix I’ve learned, have a reference location for my presentations
